NSS provides an excellent opportunity to develop students qualities of patriotism, secularism, self discipline, dignity of labour and leadership qualities.The Institute has two NSS units with 200 volunteers. Besides involving in various social service activities, every year special camps are organized in adopted villages.The NSS volunteers are eligible for admission in the Engineering colleges through lateral entry scheme, under a special reservation of three seats, vide the G.O.No: 134, Hr. Edn.(J1) Department dated 10-05-02.
